TAG Highland

TAG Highland is a project part funded by European Social Fund offering a range of training and work experience opportunities for anyone currently not working and who may be facing mental health challenges.

TAG Highland is based Highland wide in Thurso, Wick, Golspie, Alness, Nairn, Aviemore, Portree, Auchtertyre and the central unit based in Inverness.

TAG Highland offers flexible learning in small groups working at your own pace, with support for personal and social development. The range offered includes:

SQA Accredited Courses

• ICT Levels 3, 4 & 5, Keyboarding and Word Processing 1 & 2
• Numeracy and Literacy Levels 2, 3, 4& 5
• Art and Design - Introduction to using Stitched Textiles Access 3

Non- Accredited – In House Courses:

• Basic Computing, Internet, E-mail, Ebay and Internet Security
• Practical Fabric Skills, Creative Crafts, Weaving with Words
• Picture Framing (Inverness unit only), Digital Photography, Consumer Rights
• Job Search, Job Analysis, CV Writing, Job Application, Interview skills
